Come feel invigorated and unstoppable with us!</p> <p> </p> <p>The Role</p> <p>The Account Management Business Development Representative, plays a critical role in generating new business opportunities for Bloomerang by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential upsell opportunities for nonprofit customers. The Account Manager BDR supports the account management team by identifying opportunities within the existing customer base, booking qualified meetings for Account Managers and maintaining a steady pipeline of leads. This role requires resilience, creativity, and the ability to keep focused when you receive rejection. Success comes from the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think strategically and personalize engagement with existing customers.</p> <p> </p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Act as an expert on how Bloomerang’s fundraising, donor, and volunteer management solutions transform nonprofits to help them achieve their mission. Quickly articulate value to busy decision-makers.</li> <li>Engage inbound inquiries and re-engage past prospects from the Bloomerang customer base, ensuring rapid follow-up and maximize conversion rates.</li> <li>Qualify/Disqualify inbound leads via phone, email and live chat, qualifying upsell prospects and scheduling meetings for Account Managers.</li> <li>Create & nurture a 90-day rolling pipeline of high-quality potential meetings from leads, using creative and strategic outreach to warm them up and convert to qualified meetings.</li> <li>Collaborate with marketing and sales, providing feedback on lead quality and helping refine messaging to improve conversion rates.</li> <li>Consistently meet (and ideally exceed) business development KPIs, including response time, lead-to-meeting conversion rate and pipeline influence rate, contributing to Bloomergang's overall success.</li> <li>Ensure the accurate maintenance of sales data and lead tracking through Salesforce, Qualified Chat, Chilipiper and Outreach, keeping a record of all interactions and progress to ensure a seamless handoff.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What You Need to Succeed</p> <ul> <li>1+ year of sales experience (SDR, BDR, or sales internship preferred) or business experience and a strong interest in SaaS sales.</li> <li>A passion for helping nonprofits and a desire to understand their challenges.</li> <li>A self-starter mentality with the ability to adapt and push yourself every day without relying on warm leads.</li> <li>Resilience and persistence—ability to overcome rejection and use it as a learning opportunity.</li> <li>Strong communication and storytelling skills—both written and verbal to engage with senior leaders, and handle objections without hesitation.</li> <li>A curious and coachable mindset with a drive to continuously improve and ask the right questions to understand nonprofit needs and challenges.</li> <li>Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Chilipiper is a plus.</li> <li>Ability to actively explore, learn, and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily tasks to drive efficiency and support Bloomerang's mission.</li> </ul> <p><br><br></p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Health + Wellness<br>You’ll have access to generous health, vision, and dental insurance options as well as HealthiestYou, a healthcare service that offers convenient, confidential access to quality doctors 24/7, anytime, anywhere. </p> <p><br>Time Off</p> <p>You’ll get a competitive PTO package that includes 20 PTO days, 3 flex days, 4 optional volunteer days, 12 paid holidays, as well as paid parental leave. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.</p> <p> </p> <p>Location</p> <p>This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters.
