Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate specializing in Shipping! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our distribution operations, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipment processes. Duties

  • Prepare and package products accurately for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely to move stock within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently using appropriate equipment, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
  • Manage inventory movement using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track stock levels and locations.
  • Pick, pack, and organize orders with precision, supporting order picking and fulfillment for e-commerce and wholesale clients.
  • Conduct stock replenishment by stocking shelves systematically to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Assist with shipping & receiving activities, verifying inbound/outbound shipments against purchase orders or delivery notes.
  • Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with other departments to ensure timely order processing.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace by following safety guidelines and conducting routine inspections of equipment like MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems).

Skills

  • Proven experience operating forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, RF scanners, and MRP software for inventory control.
  • Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and stock management.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
  • Experience with picking & packing orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment—especially in e-commerce settings.
  • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including load & unload operations and order picking techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stocking, packaging, and documentation.
