Description


Liberty Elevator Corporation is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our Paterson, NJ team, offering competitive wages and full-time hours. This role will work alongside the current shipping and receiving team, helping to unload deliveries, stock elevator equipment and machinery, package allocations for distribution, and stock route vehicles with proper inventory of parts and materials, while maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse. The position will report Monday-Friday to the 24th Street location in Paterson, NJ but may require travel throughout the NY Metro area to assist in deliveries or parts retrieval.

Warehouse Associate Job Duties:

  • Receive and process warehouse stock products; pick, unload, label, store.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Position Requirements:

  • Honest and Reliable with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, exposed to heat, cold and the elements. (warehouses are temperature controlled, but some activities will take place outdoors)
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Legally work in the United States
  • Fluent in English.

Although not required, the ability to use a forklift is helpful.
