We are looking for several enthusiastic individuals with experience in retail industry to join our store on a permanent basis. Successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about warehouse operation, previous experience is preferable but not essential.

Location: Colindale (NW9)

Contract: Part time, Permanent

Salary: £13/hr

About the Role
As a warehouse assistant, you will be working on an array of duties such as unpacking, stock replenishment, serving customers, assisting the supervisors and store managers in maintaining the smoothly running of the store on a daily basis. This role requires heavy lifting of items up to 25 kg.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Coordinates with other colleagues and be involved in stock control such as replenishment of stock. Heavy lifting when necessary and carrying/moving stock short distances

· Pick stocks to fulfill customer orders, shop GAP replenishments and branch requests

· Load and unload goods from and to vehicles

· Work with other colleagues to process and receive deliveries. This includes checking the quantity , quality and BBD, as well as organising and placing the stocks neatly

· Maintain stock integrity during put away including incoming stocks, shops or customer returns

· Ensure that all items and payments are processed in an accurate and efficient manner and provide excellent customer service

· Recycle cardboard and shrink wrapping

· Keep the warehouse clean, safe and tidy

· Be aware of any product that is out of stock and report to the store management team immediately

· Make sure the stocks are in rotation. Such as first in first out (short dated item in front and longer dated item in the back)

· Report all safety hazards and risk factors to a member of the store management team without delay

· Take initiative and support other departments when needed or when requested by store management team

Requirements

· Strong communication and task management skills

· Attentive to the stock replenishment

· Comfortable with hands on work and heavy lifting up to 25 kg

· Have knowledge on using forklift and counterbalance is desirable

· Previous experience in a retail / warehouse environment will be an advantage
