<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4553" src="http://betteraviationjobs.com/storage/2016/07/Vistara-Cabin-Crew.jpg" alt="" width="960" height="768" /></p> <h3>Job Overview:</h3> <p>To carry out safety, security and inflight service duties, providing a consistently high level of customer care that ensures our customer’s well-being on flights.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <h4>Safety and security-related duties:</h4> <ul> <li>Safety equipment checks, to ensure their availability and functionality</li> <li>Safety demonstrations to passengers prior to take-of</li> <li>Securing of aircraft doors prior to take-off and ensuring that the cabin is free of loose items which might impede emergency evacuation</li> <li>Ensuring that passengers follow safety procedures to prevent hazards mid-flight</li> <li>Provide assistance to passengers during emergency situations such as performing first aid and giving instructions for emergency evacuations</li> </ul> <h4>Inflight service duties</h4> <ul> <li>Pre-boarding tasks such as checks on the availability of required food and beverage as well as inflight amenity items</li> <li>Boarding of customers, welcoming and directing them to seats, providing assistance with stowage of carry-on luggage and where necessary, serving of welcome drinks</li> <li>Serving of meals and beverages, including preparation of drinks, food heating/plating, food distribution and post-service collection</li> <li>Ensuring that aircraft cabins and toilets are clean and replenished during flights</li> <li>Making announcements and answering customer queries during the flight</li> <li>Seeing to customer’s comfort by distributing identified amenities as stipulated via guidelines or on request basis</li> <li>Respond to customer requests and fulfill them as much as possible</li> <li>Ensure orderly disembarkation of customers after landing</li> </ul> <h4>Administrative duties</h4> <ul> <li>Attending pre-flight briefings to be apprised of flight handling requirements such as special customer considerations</li> <li>Preparation of reports on flight incidents, including safety and security incidents</li> </ul> <h3>Skills & Attributes:</h3> <ul> <li>Recognize cultural differences</li> <li>Recognize Individual needs</li> <li>Represent Vistara in a professional manner</li> <li>Maintain up to date knowledge of current safety & security requirements</li> <li>Maintain knowledge of service procedures & company policies</li> </ul> <h3>Work Experience:</h3> <ul> <li>Prior experience as <a href="https://careers.airvistara.com/job/Cabin-Crew/5979944//?source=betteraviationjobs.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Cabin Crew</a> is preferred</li> </ul> <h3>Qualification:</h3> <ul> <li>Minimum Qualification (10+2), with minimum 60% score in class 12th</li> </ul> <h3>Eligibility:</h3> <ul> <li>Indian Nationals with Valid Passport, PAN Card and Aadhaar Card</li> <li>At least 18 years of age at the time of joining & not more than 32 years (unless prior cabin crew experience)</li> <li>Height of at least 155 cm for female and 170 cm for male, with weight proportional to height</li> <li>BMI range for female 18 to 22 and for male 18 to 25</li> <li>Fluency in English and Hindi</li> <li>No visible tattoo/ marks on any part of body</li> </ul>
