Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Virtual Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and people-centric initiatives across various departments. As a core member of the HR team, you will ensure smooth day-to-day administrative HR functions while working in a collaborative, fast-paced virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining digital employee records, HRIS data entry, and document management.

  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of documentation, scheduling orientations, and exit interviews.

  • Coordinate virtual training sessions, staff meetings, and employee engagement activities.

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and procedures with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.

  • Help implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with the organizations values and culture.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law fundamentals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS platforms.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • High level of discretion, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information.

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, or a related field.

  • Remote work experience is preferred but not required.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-driven environment is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

  • Flexibility may be required depending on meeting schedules or project deadlines.

  • Effective multitasking and ability to prioritize work in a virtual setup.
