Job Summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a dedicated Virtual Donor Recruitment and Scheduling Representative to join our mission-driven team. In this remote role, you will be the primary point of contact for potential and existing blood donors, ensuring seamless communication, appointment scheduling, and recruitment efforts. Your work will directly support life-saving blood donations and the operational success of our Biomedical Services. This position is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, empathetic, and motivated to make a meaningful impact from a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential donors through phone, email, and digital platforms to recruit and schedule blood donations.

  • Maintain accurate donor records in accordance with American Red Cross policies and HIPAA regulations.

  • Follow up with donors to confirm appointments and provide relevant information about donation procedures.

  • Coordinate and manage virtual scheduling systems, ensuring optimal donor flow and minimal wait times.

  • Collaborate with the Biomedical Services team to track donor eligibility and special donation events.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries, concerns, or feedback.

  • Support outreach campaigns to increase donor engagement and awareness.

  • Generate reports on recruitment metrics and donor activity for internal analysis.
