About the position

This position will play a key role in coordinating domestic fantasy & betting partner deliverables and benefits across the team’s business partners. Responsibilities to include assisting with partner management related assignments and tasks, such as communicating, tracking, and monitoring marketing commitments for partners, tracking contractual deliverables, managing expense budgets, and contributing to weekly status calls and reports. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong communication skills, and is incredibly detail oriented. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and, on occasion, work non-traditional hours around tentpole events. An understanding, interest and expertise in the media landscape and a passion for the game of basketball is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help operationalizing partnerships, assisting in onboarding new partners, aggregating and summarizing key partnership information, and preparing internal overviews for senior management.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for designated U.S. fantasy and betting partners, including maintaining detailed records of partner interactions, deliverables, and contract obligations.
  • Manage the intake, tracking, and fulfillment of partner requests across marketing, product, legal, data, content, and analytics workstreams.
  • Assist in planning and executing joint marketing activations, including campaign trafficking, asset delivery, and approvals.
  • Support the deployment of NBA intellectual property in partner campaigns, ensuring brand and compliance standards are met and monitor partner promotional activity to ensure proper usage of marks, data, and team intellectual property.
  • Assist with competitive monitoring across the U.S. fantasy and betting landscape (promotions, product features, market positioning).
  • Coordinate partner meetings, agendas, and follow‑ups.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working in a partner management and/or business operations role, preferably within the sports, entertainment and/or media industry.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as meticulous attention to detail and precision in work, ensuring that all aspects of a task are completed accurately and thoroughly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, multitask effectively, and organize and prioritize projects as directed.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple projects, setting priorities, dictating timelines, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a group, contributing to the team’s success rather than individual achievements.
  • Strong facility and familiarity with MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Suite, with the skill set to learn new computer programs and platforms as well as train others
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation building and delivery skills (including to senior management or external business partners).
  • Ability to build positive relationships with team members, fostering a cooperative, supportive and inclusive work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Passion for and interest in media and sports betting/fantasy gaming to provide insights and recommendations as to new business and innovation opportunities.
