Starting Pay: $14/hr.

Purpose: The primary focus of this position is assisting Delivery Teams and Customers with day of delivery issues. Associates will be responsible for inbound calls to the truck line for all Levin, Ashley, and John V. Schultz deliveries. Associates will utilize effective problem solving to troubleshoot issues on delivery and provide resolutions for the delivery team to meet the customers� needs before the team leaves the home.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities;

  1. Act as a communication liaison, answering incoming phone calls from drivers to support delivery teams in the home.
  2. Resolve all delivery issues called into the truck line while the team remains on site.
  3. Monitor stop times and route progress to ensure timely deliveries.
  4. Demonstrate effective decision-making ability, making routing and delivery decisions
  5. Reconciling of completed deliveries/exchanges/returns daily.
  6. Notate issues and resolutions in DispatchTrack for clear communication across departments
  7. Assist drivers with additional stop time needed or route delays during out of service moments.
  8. Review & respond to additional requests entered through the systems for accommodations by reviewing routes and capacity.
  9. Other tasks assigned by team leadership.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous clerical experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills.
  • Basic numerical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment.
  • Knowledge of GERS, Loft, WMS, Storis and Salesforce systems preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, and reach at shoulder height regularly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers using telephone.
  • Ability to use vision to read documents and computer screen.
  • Ability to use hands to type information into computer.
