This position will assemble towers and ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product from

blueprints by assembling mechanical parts, components and/or products. This position also trains lower-level assemblers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist Lead Assembler(s)
  • Assist in training Assembler I(s)
  • Fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos.
  • Installation of electrical components to contract specifications.
  • Provide input for continuous improvement.
  • Constructs products using hand tools or power tools.
  • Assist in managing time to ensure completion of assigned projects within specified time frame(s).
  • Inspect products after testing to prepare for shipment to customer.
  • Adjust, fit, or align components to tight tolerances, specifications, and inspection standards.
  • Communicate internally with work group to exchange work related information.
  • Perform activities planned by Assembly Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Report any unsafe conditions and/or equipment.
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Assembly or related manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with hand and power tools required.
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to stand/or sit, squat, lay and turn/twist
  • Must occasionally lift, carry, push or pull 15+ pounds. (not to exceed 35 lbs. max weight)
  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
  • Employees will be required to wear the proper (PPE), which mayinclude eye, hearing and respiratory protection, gloves, face shields or fall protection.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
