Here’s what makes a perfect fit for our team: You have deep technology & leadership expertise: • We’re especially looking for coaches who’ve deep expertise and functional experience within the technology sector—Software & Product Development Leadership, Systems Architecture & Platform Engineering Leadership, DevOps, Cloud, & Automation Leadership, Core IT Operations & Infrastructure Leadership, Data Analysis, SaaS Sales, Information & Data Management Leadership, Cybersecurity & Data Protection Leadership, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Leadership, and Emerging Technology Leadership. You understand the day-to-day pressures and strategic challenges leaders in these functions face, and you bring that practical insight into every coaching conversation. • You’ve spent time in the trenches—leading teams, driving change, and making tough calls. You’ve held at least 5 years of managerial roles, and your background gives you a strong foundation to connect with leaders facing real-world challenges. • We’re interested in coaches with experience in the technology industry—spaces where leadership can be fast-paced, high-stakes, and deeply human. Your ability to navigate that complexity makes your coaching even more impactful. You’ve worked with a diverse range of clients and understand how identity, lived experience, and culture shape the leadership journey. You might coach in more than one language, and we especially welcome coaches from underrepresented and historically marginalized backgrounds. You are an experienced & certified coach: • You’re a seasoned coach with an ICF-accredited certification (ACC, PCC, MCC) or equivalent. • You have at least 300 coaching hours under your belt, working with leaders at all levels. • While one-on-one coaching is the core of most engagements, experience leading team or group coaching sessions is a plus. You can represent Torch & our coaching philosophy: • You are knowledgeable at helping transform organizations. • You can coach individuals to meet their goals along with the organization’s unique culture, goals, and challenges. • You take a contextual approach to coaching, tailoring your methods to each client’s unique situation, goals, and challenges. You are versatile & resourceful: • You blend your business experience with coaching expertise. • You are able to guide leaders to approach challenges as opportunities for growth and transformation that shape culture, performance, and strategy across your organization • You create a safe space where confidentiality is paramount. You meet the participant wherever they are on their journey, supporting them as active guides. • You provide value to our coaching community—sharing best practices, providing feedback, and offering valuable insights that amplify our impact for our stakeholders. You have strong communication & tech skills: • You can coach in English (and maybe other languages too). • You’re comfortable using digital platforms to connect with clients and able to self-serve yourself with minimal support. Apply for the Role To apply, you’ll need a reliable internet connection for video calls, a private space for client sessions, and comfort with learning new tech. Engagements typically last 3-12 months, with an average of two 45-minute sessions per month. Our coaches set their own schedules, and coaching sessions are expected to occur during regular business hours.
