Job Description We are seeking a safe, reliable, and experienced Tankwagon Fuel Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a Class B tanker truck to transport and deliver petroleum products (such as gasoline, diesel, and other fuels) to commercial, industrial, fleet, and retail customers in a local/regional area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tankwagon (straight truck/tanker) to load fuel at terminals and deliver to assigned customer locations
  • Perform daily pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues immediately
  • Load and unload fuel using pumps, hoses, and related equipment while following strict safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork in compliance with DOT and company regulations
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, including hazardous materials transportation rules
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and resolve minor issues on-site when possible
  • Practice defensive driving and maintain a clean driving record
  • Keep the truck clean and organized

Requirements:

  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker (N) endorsement required
  • Hazmat (H) endorsement
  • Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3–5 years
  • Previous experience driving a fuel tankwagon, tanker, or delivering hazardous materials strongly preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to/from terminal/yard
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
