About the Role & Program

The System App Dev & Sustainment Analyst is a full-stack development role that will work with leadership teams and other technical teams.  They will be responsible for partnering with all areas to ensure smooth system performance and provide audits on a regular basis.  In addition to regular projects, they will often be tasked with turning out quality, sustainable solutions within very short timeframes.  This role may also be responsible for providing administration and support functions for various systems.  This role works with all areas of Disney Central and DRTSC as well as various divisions within Disney Global Business Technology. If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager-Labor Systems Integration.

What You Will Do

  • Develop applications to support business processes
  • Troubleshoot applications post development
  • End User support
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions for projects
  • Partner with other application owners to create/utilize API’s
  • Develop training programs to roll out the applications
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with multi-functional teams across varying business units with varying priorities

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and SQL
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies and libraries such as REST, jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, React, Spring Boot, and Maven
  • Experience with SharePoint and the SharePoint REST API
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Git
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Linux and Bash, preferably Fedora-like systems such as CentOS or RHEL
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI, etc.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous project management experience
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with the Mantine React.js design framework
  • Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC and Auth
  • Experience with Unit Testing using Jest, JUnit, etc.
  • Experience with web compiling and bundling technologies such as Babel, Webpack, etc.
  • Familiarity with ORMs such as Hibernate, JPA, etc.
  • Working experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Software as Infrastructure

Education

Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field at an accredited college/university.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • This internship is a primarily on-site position-- intern will provide their own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area.
  • Program length-- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through January 2026

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $42 per hour.
