Substitute Teachers and Substitute Aides needed for the 2025-2026 School Year. All level.
TX Certified applicants will be given first priority.
Must be willing to work at least two to three days a week.

Substitute Aide/paraprofessional requirements: High School diploma or equivalency.
Classroom Substitute Teacher requirements: Minimum 48 hours of college.

SUBSTITUTE PAY: There's never been a better time to make a difference in students' lives.
Substitutes working this fall semester can enjoy a temporary incentive of $10/day increase over the standard substitute pay rate.
Those who work on Mondays and Fridays can expect an extra $20 per day increase.

Sub pay incentives for Fall and Spring Semester 08/11/2025-5/22/2026
Daily Rate Tues- Thurs including the $10 incentive:
Teacher-GISD Retired - $145
Teacher-TX Certified - $125
Teacher-Degree, (Associate, 48 hours of college or Bachelor) - $110
Instructional Aide - $95
Non-instructional Aide - $85

Monday/Fridays including incentive is another $10.
Teacher-GISD Retired - $155
Teacher-TX Certified - $135
Teacher-Degree, (Associate, 48 hours of college or Bachelor) - $120
Instructional Aide - $105
Non-instructional Aide - $95
Standard daily rates without incentives:
Teacher-GISD Retired - $135
Teacher-TX Certified - $115
Teacher-Degree, (Associate, 48 hours of college or Bachelor) - $100
Instructional Aide - $85
Non-instructional Aide - $75
