Responsibilities

  • Create Front End solutions to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Translate customer insights into mockups, wireframes, and proof-of-concept code
  • Lead a small team to solve complex programming and design issues
  • Contribute to project design and architecture and execute on web, mobile, and front end software development
  • Provides technical direction and guidance to the team by analyzing, evaluating, and prioritizing technical issues/ features, ultimately ensuring that high-quality solutions are delivered
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance software applications with AI technology
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers on best practices of software engineering, leveraging AI to enhance applications, and building their technical expertise to ensure efficient and effective outcomes
  • Launch AI integrations in production and evaluate their impact on software performance and user satisfaction, using appropriate metrics

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
  • Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML, CSS
  • Experience in the Software design/architecture process, and the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Familiar with the development challenges inherent with highly scalable and available web applications
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web or mobile applications
  • Experience with open source technologies (if no practical work experience w/ Big Data, or cutting edge front-end technology—you’re prototyping and/or researching the up and coming technology and solutions
  • Proficient in building functional AI models using techniques such as prompting and AutoML
  • Skilled in monitoring the performance of models in production and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of AI integration and can lead the integration process effectively, while coaching junior engineers on how to leverage AI
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and software engineers


Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
New York: $197,000.00 - 266,500.00
