Overview

This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in Camp Hill, PA. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a dynamic and motivated entry-level Staff Accountant to join our team! This position will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to produce the highest quality results in support of our customers/merchants in the Retail Payments area. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and is looking for a collaborative, fast-paced position!

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements
  • Prepare and present accurate, well supported financial analysis and reports
  • Prepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare detailed account reconciliations and accurate journal entries posted into the financial systems
  • Ensure results are fairly stated in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Adhere to and enhance internal financial controls
  • Provide support to Foot Locker divisional finance and operations teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to understand the whole process
  • Demonstrated experience working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be willing to work extended hours during peak periods

The annual base salary range is $60000 - $65000 / year. Salary will be determined by the position offered, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
