You will be responsible for reviewing the master plan and inventory levels, ensuring that the necessary materials and components are ordered to effectively execute the required schedule. In this dynamic position, you will strategically collaborate with production teams, supply planners, and corporate functional leaders to drive cost reductions and optimize inventory levels. Responsibilities

  • Create a feasible production plan within the detailed production scheduling period, considering available capacity, labor, and materials while respecting product sequencing to ensure service levels and optimize total delivery costs.
  • Publish the weekly production schedule to the plant and review all production changes, limitations, and priorities to meet customer orders and address abnormal events, covering all planning time fences.
  • Maintain planning master data by performing routine maintenance to ensure system integrity.
  • Ensure that production scheduling sequencing complies with government regulations and Nestlé standards for food safety and quality while minimizing changeover costs.
  • Monitor Factory Attainment and Service Levels, developing action plans as needed.
  • Engage in LEAN and End-to-End Value Stream continuous improvement initiatives to enhance costs and efficiencies throughout our supply chain, manufacturing, and planning processes.
  • Order all raw materials to maintain safety stock levels.
  • Track orders and communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations and finance teams to track raw material inventory levels and monitor work-in-progress (WIP) status within the warehouse, ensuring a clear and accurate overview of resources for effective management and accountability.
  • Provide support in managing the warehouse and inventory by tracking inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and organizing the space efficiently. Additionally, assist in coordinating the shipping and receiving of raw materials to ensure smooth and timely operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain roles.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply planning or MRP.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and interpret trends to make data-driven decisions.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in using supply planning tools and software, such as SAP, Oracle, AS-400 or similar ERP systems. Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, data analysis, and modeling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Leadership experience in one of the following functions is preferred: Demand & Supply Planning, Supply Chain Development, Procurement, Physical Logistics, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, or Finance.
