Role Overview:

The Technical Operations Lead is a senior, hands-on role responsible for the stability, security, and operational excellence of enterprise business systems (EBS). This role provides technical leadership across SAP and non-SAP platforms, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, integrated, and compliant with regulatory requirements. The role includes coordinating, delegating, and guiding work across EBS team members while remaining directly engaged in day-to-day technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical owner for day-to-day operations, availability, and performance of enterprise platforms.
  • Lead operational support for SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance (CFin) environments, ensuring stable financial processing and close coordination with Finance stakeholders.
  • Delegate operational tasks to EBS team members while maintaining accountability for outcomes and service quality.
  • Oversee and support SAP SRM, Fieldglass, GRC, IBP, CRM and HCM SuccessFactors platforms, including integrations and cross-system data flows.
  • Maintain complex integrations across SAP, non-SAP, and cloud-based systems such as CFIN, Fieldglass and other 3rd party systems as well as cloud applications.
  • Provide operational leadership for Finance systems and analytics platforms, including SAP Analytics Cloud and downstream reporting solutions.
  • Lead design, monitoring, and troubleshooting of complex integrations across SAP, non-SAP, and cloud-based systems.
  • Support SAP HANA Cloud and Data Lake platforms, ensuring data availability, security, and performance for analytics and operational use cases.
  • Partner with Security teams to ensure systems comply with FedRAMP and enterprise security requirements, including access controls, audit readiness, and incident response.
  • Support production deployments, upgrades, patches, and releases across enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Development teams to ensure operational readiness of new solutions.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical and operational issues impacting mission-critical systems.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to EBS team members, promoting consistent standards, documentation, and operational discipline.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application operations, technical support, or platform administration.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including Finance-related modules and Central Finance (CFin) and SAP HANA Cloud, BTP Applications and Services as well as cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong operational experience with SAP SRM, Fieldglass, GRC, IBP, CRM, and HCM SuccessFactors.
  • Experience supporting SAP Analytics Cloud and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Strong understanding of FedRAMP or similar compliance frameworks, security, access controls, and audit requirements.
  • Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
