Position Overview 

We are seeking a dedicated Product Manager to help drive the development of innovative digital products that make Disney vacations effortless. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager that is obsessed with creating exceptional Guest experience and devoted to using technology to solve problems This role will be in support of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. 

 

This role is a project hire position with an end date of 9/25/2027 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the development of a digital product by defining the product roadmap and defining product strategy. 

  • Partners with internal stakeholders to identify quantifiable business goals and objectives. Identifies how addressing customer needs and pain points can drive business growth. 

  • Analyze, identify, and empathize with the guest to understand their pain points and opportunities through user interviews, business interviews and internal analytics data. 

  • Define and operationalize success metrics for AI-generated content, including accuracy, groundedness, hallucination rates, coverage latency and user trust signals. Establish ongoing valuation frameworks to ensure consistent AI-generated content quality over time. 

  • Partner with ML, search and data engineering to design and optimize retrieval and generation systems (e.g. RAG, embeddings, prompt strategy) translating business goals into measurable AI system improvements. 

  • Writes feature briefs that synthesize the Guest and business needs into a cohesive strategy and business case. 

  •  Design and implement both offline and live evaluation systems (human review, automated scoring, regression testing) to measure answer quality and detect performance degradation/drift across releases. 

  • Leads and maintains the feature and backlog development, attending planning ceremonies to drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks. 

  • Partner closely with ML engineering, search infrastructure and data science to define retrieval strategies, prompt frameworks and model selections decisions that optimize for answer quality an business impact. 

  • Regularly communicates progress, blockers, developments, risks, and issues impacting the project. 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of digital product or other relevant experience; 3+  years of working in the digital industry preferred. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and/or relevant work experience. 

  • Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML-powered products in production 

  • Strong understanding of retrieval systems, embeddings, ranking models and/or RAG architecture. 

  • Strong technical fluency, including experience with APIs, data modeling and system architecture. 

  • Experience defining measurable quality metrics for generative AI systems. 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, including the ability to communicate and influence at an executive level. 

  • Proven ability to collaborate with and achieve results through others, plus the ability to build strong and balanced relationships, and the capability to interact within all levels of the organization. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in digital analytics, comfortable with SQL. 

  • Experience with Snowflake and Tableau 

  • 2+ years working on products that leverage Natural Language Understanding, Machine Learning, Large Language Models, Knowledge Aggregation or Dynamic User Personalization
