Overview **Safety & Compliance Partner (Remote – Supports Teams Coast to Coast)** **Location listed as Dallas, TX, but the role is fully remote** If you’re passionate about helping people work safely, supporting field leaders, and building programs that genuinely protect teams, this role gives you the reach and autonomy to make a real impact. You’ll be the go-to partner for safety and compliance across our operations nationwide, guiding leaders, strengthening our safety culture, and keeping our teams aligned with OSHA, DOT, and regulatory expectations. **What You’ll Do** **Program Execution & Compliance** + Maintain and oversee safety programs that meet federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA and DOT. + Manage OSHA recordkeeping (300, 300A, 301) and ensure accurate, on-time reporting. + Track and report safety metrics for leadership at all levels. + Partner with Operations leaders to lower injury frequency, reduce vehicle accidents, and minimize risk. + Oversee driver qualification files, MVR reviews, and DOT compliance activities. + Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies across city, state, and federal levels. **Incident Management & Analysis** + Review accident and injury reports, ensuring timely investigation and root-cause analysis. + Support safety inspections and branch audits; guide corrective action plans and follow-up. + Lead “lessons learned” reviews with Operations leaders to prevent repeat issues. + Support Workers’ Compensation claim management in partnership with HR and claims teams. **Training, Vendors & Communication** + Coordinate safety and driver training programs across all business units. + Partner with vendors for training, PPE, and remediation support to ensure quality and consistency. + Build and distribute monthly safety communication and training topics for field and branch teams. + Coach leaders and teams on safe behaviors and consistent operating practices. **Audits & Continuous Improvement** + Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across branches and customer sites. + Recommend corrective actions and follow progress to completion. + Analyze safety performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. + Stay current on industry standards, new technology, and regulatory changes to strengthen our safety culture.
