We are looking to recruit a Software Testing & Data Entry Assistant to support system testing, data validation, and the accurate entry of information across internal systems. This role ideal for a recent graduate who is detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable working with structured data. This position is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract and operates on a hybrid basis, primarily from our Head Office in Braintree. Fully remote working may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, verify, and clean existing data ahead of import
  • Cross-check data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Log issues, discrepancies, or errors clearly and accurately
  • Work with operations staff to clarify data issues and follow up
  • Perform manual functional testing of reports and datasets
  • Prepare and implement migration of existing data into new systems
  • Develop and implement robust data management and data integrity processes

The Person

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, patience for repetitive tasks, and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas and data modelling)
  • Good written communication (able to document findings clearly)
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data
  • Logical thinker with a structured approach to work
  • A self-starter, with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions
  • Exposure to software testing, data validation or analysis, SQL, or other data tools at a basic level is desirable but not essential.
