Software Sales Representative-Laboratory

Location: This is remote based position supporting clients primarily in Eastern time zone, some in Central Time Zone.  Candidate must be willing to work 8:00am-5:00pm Eastern time zone.   requiring candidates to live in ET or CT for client engagement. (Eastern States)
 

Software Sales Representative focus is to accelerate adoption of its hospital lab analytics platform. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on hunting new business, identifying high potential prospects, and converting leads into long-term clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating with a high degree of autonomy, managing your own territory and schedule, while receiving strategic support from the Director of Sales Growth & Product Development. Success in this role requires a proactive, goal-oriented mindset and the ability to align Visiun’s solutions with client performance goals through consultative, data-driven selling.

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across hospital labs and health systems through outbound outreach, cold calling, and in-person engagement.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution, including customer agreements.

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations focused on client KPIs and strategic priorities; completing client background research, updating presentation materials to audience, coordinating as necessary, and reviewing materials with manager

  • Maintain a robust pipeline and accurately forecast performance using Salesforce; managing leads, accounts, and opportunities on a timely basis; providing regular updates to leadership on sales activities and pipeline status.

  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative solutions to close sales.

  • Leverage marketing and sales databases and event leads (e.g., trade show attendees) to identify and pursue new opportunities.

  • Organize and lead monthly sales calls to communicate sales status and insights to leadership.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, aligning Visiun’s solutions with operational challenges and performance goals.

  • Support implementation team in resolving client-related issues in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction and retention.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders/clients across hospital systems and labs through routine follow-up and superior customer service.

  • Schedule and lead annual customer business reviews to communicate solution impact on lab performance, cost savings, and quality outcomes.

  • Educate existing customers on Visiun’s solutions to drive add-on sales and long-term value.

  • Partner with marketing, product, and implementation teams to co-develop sales collateral, including customer success stories, and campaign messaging.

  • Collaborate on Labcorp sales engagements across divisions to generate Visiun and enterprise business

  • Capture and relay client feedback to inform product roadmap and strategy.

  • Represent Visiun at trade shows, webinars, and industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness.

  • Manage and follow up on leads from conferences and trade shows within CRM systems.

  • Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to internal teams to support strategic positioning and differentiation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree highly preferred in healthcare, business, or technology, or other related areas.

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B software sales, ideally in healthcare or analytics.

  • 2+ years of proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environment preferably in healthcare

  • 2+ years of demonstrated proficiency in CRM Platform (Client Relationship Management, e.g. Salesforce)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experince with Clinical Laboratories, Hosptial Operations, and LIS (Laboratory Information System) preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in creating and presenting virtual presentations using Microsoft Office in a B2B (Business to Business) capacity

Additional Job Standards

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and product training.

Application Window: March 2-13, 2026

Pay Range: 80,000-110,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION:

Variable Compensation:

  • The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan.  Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
