Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic Servers/Cashiers to join our team in our fast-paced takeout and retail environment for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, checking out customers for all retail items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsible for the daily operations of the takeout & cashier counters by offering superior customer service and facilitating efficient service flow.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, serve customers efficiently and thoroughly; always welcoming customers, and graciously assisting with customer needs, saying thank you, etc.

Order Taking & Expediting: Sell menu and products in an informative, friendly and enthusiastic manner. Take accurate orders using the Toast POS system, follow all order procedures. Expedite & pack online orders for customer pick-up with care and accuracy while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.

Counter & Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain clean counters & retail displays throughout shift including surrounding floors. Maintain take-out menus, black boards and product signs. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the retail counter area and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.

Opening & Closing Responsibilities: Set-up retail displays, cashier counter and entrance signs daily. Follow all closing procedures.

Register: Operate the cash register efficiently, processing payments and providing change as needed.

Supplies: Maintain and stock all counter & register supplies. Restock supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.

Communicate customer requests, suggestions, and comments to manager. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of food items.

Hourly wage with tips: $28. to $35. /hour

  • Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food service, cafe, or retail industry is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to help both customers and team members.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
