Senior Web Developer & System Integrations At Outdoor Norway

looking for a highly experienced Senior Web Developer & System Integrator to own and evolve our digital platforms. If you're a solutions-driven professional who thrives on autonomy, delivers high-quality work, and communicates with confidence, this role is for you.
This position plays a critical role in managing our HubSpot CMS (HubCMS) environment, ensuring seamless integrations with Woo Commerce, WordPress, and various APIs. You’ll collaborate across marketing, sales, HR and operations to deliver robust, reliable, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HubSpot CMS & CRM
  • Build, maintain, and optimize our website using HubCMS, including templates, modules, and themes
  • Configure HubSpot pipelines, forms, and workflows to support CRM, CMS, and marketing functions
  • Integrate HubSpot with Woo Commerce, WordPress, third-party tools, and internal systems

2.Custom Development & Automation
  • Develop reusable modules, scripts, and extensions for Woo Commerce and HubSpot
  • Automate sales and marketing workflows using HubSpot APIs and smart logic
  • Ensure clean data flow, synchronization, and self-service tools for internal use
  • Configure integration of Website with Fare harbor & blend

3.Website Management & Technical Support
  • Maintain WordPress performance, hosting, plugin health, and Woo Commerce functionality
  • Handle SSL, server-side issues, uptime, security, and general troubleshooting
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to implement new digital solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage data migrations and synchronization between various systems.

4.SEO & Analytics
  • Conduct SEO audits and implement metadata, schema, and speed optimizations
  • Build dashboards in HubSpot and GA4, delivering insights on traffic, conversion, and engagement

5.Documentation & Training
  • Document integrations, processes, and systems in clear, scalable formats
  • Create internal training resources and support team adoption of technical tools
  • Implement centralized access management to control and monitor user access across all currently used applications. Ensure its smooth working & guide team accordingly

6.External Collaboration
  • Liaise with third-party vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure smooth integrations
  • Represent Outdoor Norway with professionalism in regular partner meetings and follow-ups

  • HubSpot CMS (HubL templating language)
  • HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • WordPress & WooCommerce
  • HubSpot APIs (CRM,CMS, Marketing)
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • GitHub & HubSpot CLI for local development
  • JSON for theme/module configuration
  • Optional: Serverless Functions (Node.js)

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in HubSpot CMS (HubL)
  • Strong command of web fundamentals and custom API integration with different applications
  • Highly reliable, proactive, and capable of independently managing technical projects
  • Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Clear communicator with a confident, professional presence in virtual meetings
  • Goal-oriented and capable of holding yourself accountable to outcomes
  • Team player who thrives in a remote, collaborative environment
  • Experience in the tourism industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus)
