Team Description:

The Technology Process and Performance organization partners across all organizations to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness by measuring the organization's performance and driving excellence. As part of the TP&P team, the Vendor Management Office (VMO) is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of vendor-related processes across our organization. As part of this mission, the VMO aims to leverage data-driven insights to optimize vendor management, streamline operations, and support informed decision-making. The VMO Sr. Delivery Analyst plays a key role in supporting strategic vendor management initiatives across Enterprise Technology.

What You’ll Do:

This role partners closely with the Sr. Manager, Technology VMO Strategic Operations to drive vendor optimization, demand transparency, performance tracking, and strategic sourcing efforts. The Sr. Vendor Delivery Analyst will contribute to the development and activation of vendor strategies, data-driven insights, and operational improvements that align with Disney’s strategic technology goals.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, process minded, and comfortable coordinating across sourcing, legal/privacy, security, finance, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the execution of vendor sourcing and resource optimization strategies across technology domains with a focus on cost savings, consolidation, and improved compliance.

  • Collaborate with sourcing, finance, and technology teams to analyze vendor contracts, rate cards, spend, and service models.

  • Participate in vendor evaluations, negotiations, and change management initiatives.  Support governance efforts to enable regulated bids and compliance.

  • Help identify and activate opportunities for vendor optimization and modernization across the Enterprise Technology portfolio.

  • Formulate and implement strategies to improve customer-vendor relationships including agreement and product education, vendor business reviews, performance monitoring, and escalation identification and tracking.

  • Contribute to stakeholder communications, executive summaries, dashboards, and presentations to align sourcing strategy and report on vendor performance.

  • Provide training, as appropriate, to business partners on VMO policies, standards, processes, and procedures. 

  • Help develop and implement strategies for data products. reporting tools, vendor performance dashboards, and heatmaps to surface portfolio optimization opportunities and monitor and report on vendor service levels, performance metrics, and compliance with strategic agreements.

  • Support documentation and process alignment across VMO tools and processes working closely with other Enterprise Tech and segment VMO teams to gather information, validate, and align processes.  Focus on vendor scorecards, sourcing playbooks, negotiation briefs, KPI dashboards, spend-analysis models, and contract-risk matrices.

  • Identify and support opportunities to leverage AI and automation within vendor management processes, including structuring data for AI consumption, contributing to the development of AI-driven insights and tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to pilot and scale intelligent automation solutions

This is a project hire opportunity with an expected assignment length of 12 months.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology vendor management, sourcing, or delivery operations.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis, negotiation, performance measurement, and data visualization.

  • Familiarity with vendor operating models, contract structures, and service level agreements.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams including Strategic Sourcing, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Service Optimization, Technology Portfolio & Business Management (TPBM), Procurement, Finance, and Legal.

  • Proven ability to think innovatively and proactively to identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and platforms, with the ability to leverage them to enhance productivity, streamline documentation processes, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization and managing multiple priorities.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in MS Suite, Airtable, Confluence, AI, and data visualization tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives, including vendor consolidation and holistic technology landscape alignment.

  • Knowledge of contract billing structures and cost distribution models.

  • Familiarity with vendor reporting and invoicing tools/processes. (e.g., Coupa, ServiceNow, ComSi, Apptio).

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI.

  • Negotiation or sourcing certifications.

  • MBA

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology Management, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $104,300.00 to $143,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
