Position Summary: As a Senior Manager, Legal Project and Contract Management within Signify Health’s Legal Department, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of key contract management activities and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. This position is embedded in the broader Health Care Delivery legal group, requiring strong project management acumen, legal process oversight, and contract management expertise. You will define project scope, objectives, and timelines; allocate resources and manage budgets; communicate progress to stakeholders; and ensure contracts and projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Leads project teams by assigning clear responsibilities and expectations, analyzing and improving contracting and project management practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role is deeply involved in contract management, legal process improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration. • Manage and develop one (1) Manager, Project Management. • Oversee all aspects of contract management: • Maintain and update contract templates. • Draft, review, and revise contracts, including consolidating internal feedback and preparing client-facing versions. • Conduct contract audits as needed. • Update records in the contract management system and co-maintain internal contract trackers. • Identify and mitigate risks in Medicaid addenda. • Assist in training new account management and operations hires on contract processes. • Lead and facilitate bi-weekly and ad hoc cross-functional leadership meetings. • Manage and track CLIA Certificate of Waiver and CA license renewals; prepare and submit renewal/change documents to state agencies; log and track updated Certificates of Waiver • Assign and monitor legal mandate requests. • Triage and/or provide support for subpoenas, garnishments, Board of Nursing, and records requests. • Co-manage the Legal team email inbox. • Support drafting of Legal team management reports. • Lead, manage and/or support strategic projects as needed/requested. Required Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including significant contract management experience • Proven ability to plan, deliver, and support projects end-to-end in a fast-paced and highly collaborative business • Strong business intelligence, collaboration, and teamwork skills • Mastery of problem-solving, decision-making, and fostering a growth mindset • Formal or Informal Leadership skills, and adept at developing both self and others • Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane) Preferred Qualifications: • Proven ability to lead teams; adept at problem solving, decision-making, and collaboration/teamwork. • Experience with contract management tools (Apttus). • Familiarity with collaboration platforms (arenaflex Workspace, SharePoint, Teams) • Demonstrated success in driving compliance and operational efficiency in complex organizations • Strategic decision-making and prioritization. • Strong collaboration, influencing and communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep track of deadlines. • Ability to balance compliance objectives with business needs. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a arenaflex bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
