94,200 - 115,200

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We are seeking a versatile and high-performing Senior Business Analyst (Level II or Senior level, depending on experience) to drive the evolution of our Trade Credit division. While a primary focus will be leading the transition to our new underwriting system, this role serves as a central pillar for all Trade Credit initiatives.

You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring that objectives for the transition and all subsequent operational projects are met with precision. This position requires a strong background in Project Management, as you will be responsible for tracking milestones, managing scope, and providing consistent visibility to the Trade Credit Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do Here

  • System Transition Leadership: Lead requirements to migrate business units to the new underwriting platform; document functional specifications and ensure the solution meets ROI goals.

  • Project Management & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for the Trade Credit Operations Manager, providing consistent status updates, risk assessments, QA testing, and progress reports on all active projects.

  • Operational Support: Beyond the system transition, provide ongoing BA support for diverse operational needs, process improvements, and ad-hoc business initiatives within the Trade Credit department.

  • Stakeholder Synthesis: Facilitate sessions with national stakeholders to seek consensus on differing interests, manage priorities, and remove roadblocks to keep teams on plan.

  • End-to-End Analysis: Analyze complex data sources to provide actionable recommendations; create guides and visual documentation to bridge the gap between IT and business users.

  • Quality & Change Management: Identify change and provide QA during test planning and execution to ensure the integrity of the Trade Credit systems and workflows.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven experience with SaaS is required.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • Project Management Expertise: A strong background in Project Management is required. You must be comfortable managing timelines, dependencies, and reporting structures.

  • Trade Credit Knowledge: Experience in Trade Credit insurance, Underwriting systems, or the broader insurance industry is a significant asset.

  • Analytical Skills: Highly developed problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple files and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Language: Bilingualism (English/French) is required. Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Experience in Functional Analysis and Business Process Review..

    • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI and other project systems.
