Face to Face SEN Tutor – Shrewsbury

£25-£40 per hour (plus expenses)

Are you passionate about helping learners thrive?

ALFA is looking for an inspiring SEN Tutor to support vulnerable students in Maths, English and interventions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.


Key Responsibilities
:

  • Deliver face-to-face lessons in students’ homes
  • Work closely with our safeguarding specialists
  • Help students with SEND or SEMH needs re-engage with education


Requirements
:

  • QTS/QTLS is essential
  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • Experience of tuition of children with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Full UK driving license

We support young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to SEMH needs, EBSNA, anxiety or SEND needs. Our personalised approach includes face-to-face home tuition, online lessons with subject specialists and outdoor learning through PEAK activity centres.


We’re expanding in your area and offering flexible tutoring roles. While the contract is 0-hours, we guarantee regular work.
