VXForward has a great opportunity for a 100% Remote - Salesforce Developer with one of our clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform hands-on development for Salesforce initiatives across the Salesforce platform.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
  • Contribute to coding standards, development best practices, CI/CD workflows, and source control branching strategies.
  • Design and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, platform events, and configurable connections.
  • Collaborate on data model structure, security configuration, and access controls to support maintainability and scalability.
  • Address Salesforce platform constraints, including governor limits, data volume considerations, and performance impacts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex development, performance, and integration issues across environments, including production support.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and technical decomposition of user stories.
  • Participate in code reviews and support adherence to quality standards.
  • Partner with QA to support test planning, defect resolution, and regression testing.
  • Support Section 508 accessibility requirements and applicable federal security standards.
  • Maintain technical documentation for custom code, integrations, deployment procedures, and operational support.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior and mid-level Salesforce developers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and delivery efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in enterprise settings.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, permission sets, and role- or persona-based access.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and version control practices.
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations with external systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving performance and data-related issues.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned technical work while contributing as part of a broader team.
