As a Residential Driver at Waste Management, you will operate heavy-duty trucks and be responsible for collecting residential household waste or recyclable materials. Responsibilities

  • Operate truck in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, and DOT requirements
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and document checks
  • Report unsafe situations or service-related issues immediately
  • Attend and participate in required training programs and meetings
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatch or Route Manager
  • Ensure the cleanliness of customer locations after service
  • Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day documentation

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an air-brake endorsement
  • 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
