<strong>Title: </strong>Innevato EDU Remote Teacher of Record (Summer School and/or School Year)<br><br><strong>Current Positions Hired Based on Need (all remote & part time):<br><br></strong><ul><li>Grade 6 Courses<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Possession of baccalaureate or higher degree in a specific content area</li><li>Valid Ohio Teaching License (K-8, 1-8, or 4-9)</li><li>Required criminal background check</li><li>Meets USCIS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification<br><br></li></ul><strong>Reports To: </strong>Superintendent/Designee<br><br>This is a vendor contract as needed by an InnevAto EDU partner school district. The school district has the option to add an InnevAto EDU teacher of record to the service contract / MOU. This teacher will be hired through the Fairfield County ESC. These teachers will be highly qualified and will teach, support and evaluate all students in an online course.<br><br><strong>Performance Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Successfully complete an online “Best Practices of Online Teaching” professional development course prior to or within the first week of teaching the course. Training will be provided by the FCESC.</li><li>Publish and evaluate no less than 90% of the InnevAto EDU course content.</li><li>Communicate with students via the most efficient method (i.e., LMS, telephone, email, face-to-face, video conferencing, etc.) on a regular basis.</li><li>Monitor students and intervene when a student is inactive for more than one week. </li><li>Monitor and engage in any online discussions within the course.</li><li>Evaluate student submissions. Provide student-specific feedback for all lessons.</li><li>Maintaining records on student progress/grades.</li><li>Create a partnership with each students’ home district and communicate/collaborate in a manner that best fits the students’ needs.</li><li>Provide additional support and intervention to the student, when needed, and to communicate with parents/guardians, guidance counselors, and other stakeholders (especially if a student is not making adequate progress and/or is at risk of failing the course).</li><li>Participate in quality assurance discussions and provide feedback regarding the instructional design and ability to effectively deliver the course with the InnevAto EDU leadership team.</li><li>Attend and engage in professional development and one-on-one sessions and apply learning to the course development support process</li><li>Collaborate with the team</li><li>Communicate effectively and in a timely manner</li><li>Undertakes continuing professional study including participation in the activities of professional organizations, enrollment in university level classes, and personal investigation of current literature pertaining to children with disabilities.</li><li>Attends in-service training sessions, as assigned by Fairfield County ESC Supervisor or Superintendent/Designee.</li><li>Complies with policies and procedures established by the Fairfield County ESC and the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, And Other Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of Ohio’s Learning Standards and IDEA Requirements.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with others.</li><li>Ability to communicate ideas and directions clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.</li><li>Organizational and problem solving skills.</li><li>Ability to generate correspondence independently.</li><li>Respects confidences shared by the staff and operates in a discreet manner in all related matters.</li><li>Performs other tasks and assumes responsibilities as the Superintendent/Designee directs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation: </strong>starting at $125 per student, per course<br><br><strong>Steps To Apply<br><br></strong><ul><li>Complete application and answer questions.</li><li>Upload current teaching license (access through ODE’s OH | ID account)</li></ul>
