Key Responsibilities: • Provide High-Quality Teletherapy: Conduct evidence-based psychological services for individuals, couples, or families via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, consistent with your scope of licensure and clinical expertise. • Maintain Compliant Clinical Records: Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and completed in a timely manner, adhering to HIPAA standards and the regulations of your licensing state(s). • Uphold Ethical & Legal Standards: Strictly adhere to the APA's Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, all applicable state and federal laws, and best practices for telehealth confidentiality and security. • Manage Client Relationships: Foster a professional therapeutic environment by clearly communicating your practice policies, session fees, and scheduling directly with your clients. • Direct Financial Management: Independently establish your session rates, and manage all aspects of billing and payment directly with your clientele. Requirements: • Education: A Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). • Licensure: A current, unrestricted license to practice psychology independently in at least one state within the U.S. You are responsible for maintaining compliance with all inter-state telehealth laws and regulations. • Experience: A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience delivering psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments. • Telehealth Proficiency: Demonstrated competence in using secure telehealth technologies (e.g., SimplePractice, Doxy.me, Zoom for Healthcare) and experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. • Professional Liability: Must maintain an active professional liability (malpractice) insurance policy with coverage appropriate for your practice. • Independent Contractor Readiness: Must be prepared to operate as an independent contractor, managing your own schedule, taxes, and business-related expenses. Required Skills: • Exceptional clinical, diagnostic, and case conceptualization skills. • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building therapeutic rapport remotely. • Deep empathy, cultural humility, and unwavering professionalism. • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. • A strong commitment to continuous professional growth and ethical practice.
