The BMM Audience Strategy Lead drives the development of strategic plans and actionable insights for enterprise audiences, collaborating with product, sales, and marketing teams to enhance engagement and growth.


Responsibilities

  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with sales stakeholders, partner marketing teams, and cross-functional support teams to align global cross-functional teams with a common strategy and goals
  • Influence product, sales, and marketing delivery, using analytical findings and critical data points to deliver recommendations, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new ideas and approaches
  • Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, including company financial trends, product data, marketing campaigns, and survey results in order to build a comprehensive understanding of target audiences
  • Leverage experience with marketing technology implications, data/signal limitations, and measurement strategies to inform strategic approaches and opportunity addressability
  • Source sales and marketing team feedback to understand client needs and identify global strategic opportunities
  • Evaluate measurement methodologies and champion best practices
  • Define concrete, material goals across multiple marketing channels that can be rolled into topline marketing goals
  • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into enterprise markets, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities to enhance engagement and growth and translate complex data insights into actionable audience strategies with clear growth hypotheses
  • Partner with technical teams (marketing technology, business engineering, product) to prioritize solutions aligned with revenue generation
  • Assess quarterly results, synthesize learnings, and iterate on the strategic plan to maximize impact
  • Align all relevant stakeholders on roadmap status and progress to goal while ensuring marketing deliverables for small business and mid-market sales are delivered on time and predictably
  • Measure and analyze existing marketing strategy performance, identifying optimization and improvement opportunities

Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic planning, growth, product marketing, marketing analytics or a similar role
  • Understanding of Meta product development, roadmapping and GTM practices
  • Experience managing and leading cross-functional virtual teams
  • Understanding of scaled marketing channels (eg paid search, social media, in product, email)
  • Experience defining measurable revenue, product adoption, and/or service targets
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful data-informed strategies that drive measurable business growth
  • Experience bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience as a 'connector' across teams to drive results, including strategic alignment and execution against stated key performance indicators
  • Experience in problem-solving and communicating about issues with executive-level audiences
  • Experience in conveying complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with enterprise (non-advertiser) clients, from medium-sized businesses to large & global clients with complex global businesses, and key buyer personas
  • Understanding, engaging, and influencing the multiple touchpoints a client has across Product, Sales, Marketing, and the ecosystem of third party partners is a must
  • Proven collaboration skills
  • Understanding of cross-channel scaled marketing strategies, measurement methodologies, and technical execution
