Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a talented and passionate Remote Apparel Designer to join our creative team. In this work-from-home position, you will play a key role in the ideation and development of fashion collections across various categories. From creating trend-driven sketches and moodboards to preparing professional-grade technical packs, you will contribute to every stage of the design lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

  • Design original apparel concepts through hand sketches and digital renderings based on trend research and brand identity.

  • Develop moodboards and concept presentations using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.

  • Create detailed technical design packs (tech packs) with specifications, trims, colorways, and fabric suggestions for sample development.

  • Collaborate remotely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to align on seasonal design direction.

  • Translate design ideas into production-ready formats while maintaining brand consistency and fit standards.

  • Monitor fashion market trends, consumer behavior, and seasonal demands to inform new design ideas.

  • Attend virtual meetings to present design ideas, gather feedback, and revise accordingly.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

  • Basic understanding of fashion construction, fabrics, and fit.

  • Ability to create clear, detailed sketches and tech packs for factories or production partners.

  • Strong visual communication and storytelling skills.

  • Excellent time management and self-motivation in a remote work environment.

  • Good command of English for clear and professional communication.

Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fashion or apparel design, internships or freelance roles accepted.

  • Prior experience working with global clients or remote fashion teams is a plus.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous apparel design work, sketches, and tech packs is required.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote working hours with expected availability for team sync-ups and feedback sessions.

  • Core availability requested during Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST (adjustable based on location and team needs).

  • Part-time or full-time engagement options available.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of current fashion trends, color theory, textiles, and garment construction.

  • Strong digital sketching and layout capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and take creative initiative.

  • Comfortable using cloud storage, virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Trello, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CAD software or 3D fashion design tools is a bonus.
