Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Robert Half is seeking a Senior Dayforce Consultant to assist their client in implementing new Dayforce functionality. The role involves owning configuration and delivery across Performance & Talent and Core HCM, driving requirements, designing configurations, and partnering with HR/IT for a successful rollout.


Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and requirements workshops with HR, Talent, and IT stakeholders
  • Configure Dayforce modules with a focus on Performance, Goals, Talent (Succession/9‑box), and Core HCM
  • Build and optimize workflows, approvals, security roles, and data models
  • Design performance cycles, goal libraries, calibration settings, talent profiles, and review templates
  • Configure Core HCM (job/position structures, org hierarchies, employee data, business rules)
  • Define test strategy; create and execute test cases; manage UAT and defect triage
  • Develop cutover plans and partner on change management and enablement materials
  • Create clear documentation (process maps, configuration specs, SOPs, admin guides)
  • Advise on data governance, integrations handoffs, and downstream reporting needs

Skills

  • 10+ years of hands‑on HRIS experience in enterprise environments
  • 5+ years Dayforce configuration experience, including recent work in Performance/Talent and Core HCM
  • Proven track record leading end‑to‑end configuration (not just administration)
  • Strong workflow/build experience: approvals, routing, security/roles, notifications
  • Expert at requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder communication
  • Solid testing discipline (unit, SIT, UAT) and defect management
  • Excellent documentation and knowledge‑transfer skills
  • Comfortable operating independently and delivering high‑quality work without hand‑holding
  • Experience with Dayforce Succession/Calibration, Competencies, and Goal Management at scale
  • Exposure to integrations (e.g., with ATS, payroll, or data lakes) and reporting (Dashboards/Analytics)
  • Change management experience (training materials, job aids, comms)
  • Dayforce or HR certifications
