Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Job Summary

Travel Registered Nurse needed for a MS/Tele unit. The patient population will be primarily MS. Must be flexible with scheduling and aware of the client's zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. All RNs are required to pass an EKG exam during compliance. Must have EPIC experience. Must be willing to float across all Cone Health facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing direct patient care on a Med-Surg/Tele unit.
  • Monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assessing patients and developing care plans.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Providing patient and family education.
  • Floating to other Cone Health facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • EKG exam during onboarding.
  • EPIC charting experience.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
  • Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Charge RN experience.
  • Telemetry experience.

  • Telemetry monitoring (on the unit and remote).

  • Central line blood draw.

  • PICC line management.
  • CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) management.
