Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Planning:
  • Work towards achieving sales and marketing Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) as agreed with Director of International Markets.
  • Develop 3-year strategic plans and roadmap for the LATAM region and additional assigned emerging markets, including the Middle East and select African countries.
  • Create Half-Year and End-of-Year performance reports for the region and individual countries, including business reviews and strategic planning insights.
  • Monitor local economic and market trends; recommend strategic changes for distributors.
  • Forecast sales, prepare regular reports on sales performance.
  • Evaluate business projects recommended by distributors which support in-market growth goals.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and track progress via control systems to ensure alignment with OKRs.
  • Ensure company mission, vision, and values are understood and aligned with distributor partners.
  • Sales, Distribution & Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and ensure execution of sales, distribution and marketing strategies in LATAM and additional assigned emerging markets.
    • Manage regional and country-level P&L to ensure financial targets are met and resources are optimized.
    • Approve all incoming sales orders and work closely with the production and logistic teams to ensure delivery goals.
    • Work with the Finance department to monitor payment status of each distribution account.
    • Manage and reconcile monthly budgets and marketing contribution allocations.
    • Facilitate distributor contract negotiations.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Conduct market analysis, consumer insights and competitive assessments to identify growth opportunities and threats.
    • Coordinate with Global Brand Manager, Distributor partners and 3rd party vendors to conduct market research, gather consumer insights, create target consumer profiles, and conduct competitive reviews to localize marketing strategies and content creation adopting HQ best practices and tools.
    • Develop and implement tactics for building brand awareness, new customer acquisition and customer retention across channels and platforms.
    • Ensuring localization of global creativity, including all design and content, is consistent with brand guidelines, style guides and of good quality. Likewise ensure original distributor-created marketing content and international logo usage is consistent with global branding and approved by HQ.
    • Brief in country-specific design, packaging, new product development, customer service, regulatory and compliance requests, and quality assurance and quality control requests, working with project managers.
    • Facilitate the local design of labels.
    • Assist and support PR team and distributors with local financial and production donation activities.
    • Share regional insights and in-market learnings internally including the Global Brand Manager to inform future product innovation, packaging updates, and brand strategy decisions.
  • Distributor & Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management:
    • Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with distributors and brand partners.
    • Filter and direct pertinent international needs to appropriate stakeholders in HQ operations, marketing, and OSI optimizing efficiencies and ensuring all customer needs are met in an agreed-upon timeframe.
    • Coordinate all necessary documents needed for claims, local product registrations and regulations in a collaboration with OSI and the International Department Operations Manager
    • Address product defects and shortage reports from distributors, coordinating with OSI and the International Department Operations Manager to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
    • Identify and escalate risks related to supply chain, regulatory compliance, political climate, or brand reputation, collaborating with internal teams and distributor partners.
  • Other duties as assigned within job scope.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
  • 5 years’ experience in a marketing and sales position managing LATAM (Latin America)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Advanced knowledge of digital file sharing and project management systems, and various social media platforms,
  • Must maintain a valid passport.
