This role can be base in the US/LATAM/EU. Role Overview As a Quantitative Trader specializing in Market Making, you will be responsible for developing and improving high-frequency trading strategies, constructing tick-level factors, and enhancing our algorithmic trading models. You will work closely with researchers, developers, and traders to create robust market‑making algorithms and capitalize on opportunities in the fast‑paced world of cryptocurrency markets. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and optimize market‑making strategies across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. • Monitor and adjust strategies to react to changing market conditions and ensure profitability. Algorithm Development • Proficiently write and improve high‑performance algorithms in Python. • Create and implement high‑frequency trading models based on tick‑level data. • Construct and refine market factors (order flow, price movement, liquidity, etc.) for high‑frequency trading strategies. Backtesting and Validation • Design and implement backtests to validate the performance of trading strategies. • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze historical data and optimize strategy parameters. Qualifications Experience • Strong experience in market making within cryptocurrency or traditional financial market, solid experience in backtesting and optimizing trading strategies using tick‑level data. Market Knowledge • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, including liquidity, order book dynamics, volatility, and arbitrage opportunities. • Knowledge of market microstructure and trading algorithms. Soft Skills • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. • Ability to handle stress and work under pressure in a competitive environment. Preferred Qualifications A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, etc.) is preferred.
