Job Description: Pet Care Specialist – Preferrably Remote Workers & Retirees!

Happy Tails SoFlo LLC, a trusted and tailored pet service provider, is looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Pet Care Specialists. We provide personalized care for pets, including dogs, cats, and exotic animals, through tailored walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. This position specifically will require the candidate to stay the night at the clients home.

Job Description:

Happy Tails SoFlo LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced, and compassionate individual to join our team as an Overnight Pet Sitter. This role involves staying overnight in clients’ homes to provide care, companionship, and supervision for their pets while ensuring the home remains secure. As part of our trusted team, you will deliver top-notch service to our clients and their beloved animals.

Responsibilities:

Stay overnight in the client’s home.
Provide attentive care for pets, including feeding, walking, administering medications (if needed), and ensuring their overall well-being.
Follow specific care instructions provided by clients.
Maintain a safe and clean environment within the client’s home.
Provide updates, photos, and regular communication to pet owners during their absence.
Monitor the health and behavior of pets and report any concerns promptly.
Handle basic household tasks, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, or adjusting lights (as requested by the client).

Qualifications:

Proven experience in pet care, animal behavior, or veterinary assistance (preferred but not required).
Comfortable caring for various animals, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
Trustworthy, dependable, and able to handle emergency situations calmly.
Strong communication skills for client interactions and updates.
Ability to follow detailed care instructions and adapt to the needs of different pets.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Background check required.
