<p>Product Specialist, Irrigation technology</p><p><br></p><p>The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales of Digital Products in the US Irrigation market. The job requires a high level of technical knowledge and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels pre- and post-sales including engineers, distributors, operators, etc.</p><p><br></p><p>The Product Specialist is expected to provide technical support for the Regional Sales Managers, and distributors. Occasional travel to sites for troubleshooting, installation supervision, and training sessions.</p><p><br></p><p>The Product Specialist is expected to master all technical aspects of the equipment and become the company go-to person on these products.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>> Responsible for preparing the sales plan for digital products, including implementation and execution oversight</p><p>> Responsible for improving the product portfolio and support system, ensuring alignment with market needs</p><p>> Cross-train on other control valve and air valve products to be a backup for existing product engineers</p><p>> Training and certifying dealers across the US to serve as the primary support line for digital products</p><p>> Travels frequently for jobsite support, field troubleshooting, engineer presentations and exhibitions.</p><p>> Conduct presentations and training sessions as needed, both with RSM’s and without as necessary.</p><p>> Study and identify competitors’ pricing, activities, new products and strengths/weaknesses</p><p>> Suggest marketing activities to help penetrate new markets</p><p>> Identify market needs and suggest solutions and product improvements</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>> Proven experience in sales of technical / engineered products used in the irrigation market.</p><p>> Previous experience with irrigation control systems and flow meters</p><p>> Flexibility for travel as needed and the ability to operate autonomously</p><p>> Ability to connect with stakeholders of various levels (from field operators and contractors to consulting engineers)</p><p>> Professional presentation and training skills</p><p>> High level of personal integrity</p><p>> Driven and results-oriented</p>
