About the Job Integral’s principals are business leaders, client leaders, and staff leaders. Principals are recognized internally and externally as technical and strategic subject matter experts in one or more subjects. They consistently generate labor revenue of at least $1.25M per year through a combination of collaborative and independent sales. Prior consulting experience is essential. Principals direct major technical efforts and project teams, ensuring technical excellence, alignment with contractual requirements, and compliance with the firm’s quality assurance program. They help develop the next generation of firm leaders, by recruiting new talent and coaching colleagues. Paramount to the position is successful client development—for both existing and new clients and in both existing and new services. This position may offer in-office, remote, or hybrid opportunities based on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization. Requirements: Responsibilities • Generate $1.25M in labor revenue annually by expanding work with existing clients and developing new clients • Deliver high quality products to clients • Support the career growth of staff • Promote and expand the firm’s reputation, as well as one’s personal reputation, by presenting at scientific conferences and publishing in the peer-reviewed scientific literature • Understand and reinforce Integral's Health and Safety Program and Quality Management Program • Ensure that work is performed by the most appropriate staff and in accordance with the applicable standard of care. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: • Advanced degree in epidemiology or public health • 15 years of directly relevant experience (e.g., in consulting, industry, trade association, research institute) • Successful track record in generating $1.25M per year in business and completing projects on time, on schedule, and with high quality • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work products • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally • Strong organizational abilities • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers • Excellent written and oral communication skills • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally • Possess strong organizational abilities • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers Compensation is commensurate with experience and internal equity, within the listed range. An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability insurance, paid sick leave (10 days), paid vacation (10 or/to 20 days; determined by title at hire), paid holidays (9 days) per year, and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
