Group overview: This team focuses on broad macro positioning and the management of the day-to-day across unconstrained multi-sector fixed income portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CIOs and senior portfolio managers in running portfolios, contributing to investment decision-making, portfolio construction, and risk management
  • Ensure portfolio implementation across multiple strategies, ensuring efficient trade execution, liquidity management, and alignment with investment views
  • Drive consistency of portfolio exposures relative to mandates, house views, and risk budgets, proactively identifying and resolving drift or unintended positioning
  • Manage daily portfolio responsibilities including performance monitoring, risk oversight, rebalancing, cash optimization, and attribution analysis
  • Ensure all portfolios adhere to investment guidelines, client mandates, regulatory requirements, and internal risk parameters
  • Being a student of the market and contributing to trade ideas and PM team discussions
  • Help develop automation, analytical tools, and scalable processes to improve efficiency and operational robustness across portfolios
  • Lead and mentor junior portfolio managers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, rigor, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in portfolio management, trading, or investment related functions
  • Undergraduate degree and demonstrated professional experience with proven passion for investing
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving ability in dynamic market environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across investment, trading, risk, and technology teams
  • Experience portfolio construction (risk, trading, compliance, cash)
  • A general understanding of fixed income markets including rates, credit, spread products, and derivatives
  • High attention to detail with strong process discipline and operational risk awareness

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing or mentoring a team strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Aladdin (and the use of Aladdin tools)
  • Strong technical skill set is a plus (including experience with AI, data analysis, automation, workflow enhancement, Python / SQL)
