Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is now hiring a Warehouse Worker (PM Shift). Essential duties and responsibilities

This person extracts orders, stores, stores and distributes inventory within the distribution center and loads trucks for next day delivery.

Collect the product (individual boxes and bottles) from shelves and shelves to meet order requirements.

It operates forklift, order picker and hand truck to transport products.

Loading and unloading the inventory of trucks by hand, forklifts and/or manual trucks.

Follow the procedures established in the entry and exit of equipment.

Performs all compliance functions accurately and efficiently.

Maintains the assigned workspace in a clean and acceptable manner.

Re-warehouse broken inventory according to proper procedures. Order the remaining saleable inventory and return the products to the product locations.

Re-store loose bottles, asking a supervisor to assign a bottle location if necessary.

Replenish and clean the designated area during the shift, ensuring that all pallets and trash are stored properly.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of experience and/or related training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Forklift Certification

  • Basic computer skills
