Description

What we do:

US Signal is a leading data center services provider, offering secure, reliable network, cloud hosting, colocation, data protection, and disaster recovery services - all powered by its expansive, robust fiber network. US Signal also helps customers optimize their IT resources through the provision of managed services and professional services.

We are seeking multiple Platform Developers to join our team working in a hybrid or remote work environment.

We're building something different. An agile, nimble, fast development team that blows the production of traditional teams away - not by working harder, but by working smarter with AI-augmented development. Direct lines to leadership. No layers of project managers or consultants between you and the work.

As a Platform Developer you will own our current system stack that includes Salesforce and Certinia environments plus new custom apps that we manage end-to-end: building, maintaining, and improving the systems that run our business. You'll work alongside Claude (yes, the AI) as a technical partner for architecture decisions, code review, and problem-solving. This isn't a gimmick or a dream - it's how we operate.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain integrations across our systems
  • Design and implement solutions for Finance, Sales, Operations and Executive groups as an imbedded member of their team
  • Troubleshoot production issues and own them to resolution
  • Collaborate directly with the executive leadership and business stakeholders - no telephone games
  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate your work and expand your capabilities
  • Contribute to our Snowflake data architecture and dbt transformation layer
Requirements

What you bring to the team:
  • 3+ Years Experience with software development. Salesforce/Certinia exposure, preferred.
  • Technical Agility & Strong Engineering Fundamentals: Demonstrates solid grounding in software development principles, including OOP, data modeling, API integrations, and SQL. Learns new platforms quickly and adapts to evolving tools, with an interest in AI-assisted development as part of the daily workflow.
  • Problem Solving Through First Principles: Breaks down ambiguous problems using logical, customer-centric reasoning rather than relying on established process. Approaches challenges with curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to iterate quickly.
  • Clear, Direct Communication in a Fast Environment : Communicates with precision and transparency across remote teams and executive stakeholders. Able to articulate tradeoffs, propose solutions, and engage in direct, productive collaboration without intermediaries.
  • Find a Way to Win: Results Orientation, Initiative
  • Act Like an Owner: Accountability, Leadership, Business Acumen
  • Stay Curious: Learning Agility, Innovation, Open-Mindedness
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ Years Professional Experience
What You Won't Find Here
  • Layers of approval before you can ship
  • Consultants doing the interesting work while you handle tickets
  • Rigid sprint ceremonies that exist for their own sake
  • A manager who doesn't understand what you do
What You Will Find
  • Ownership of meaningful systems
  • Direct access to decision-makers
  • A team that's genuinely embracing AI enabled development work
  • Room to grow as we scale
What We Offer:

In return for your hard work and commitment, you will enjoy a supportive and inclusive workplace, along with the following benefits:
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation and 10 paid holidays
  • Competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans with Flexible Spending benefits including medical/dental expenses and dependent care
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a generous contribution
  • Group Term Life Insurance covered 100% by employer
  • Wellness Incentive to promote overall employee well-being
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Business casual dress code

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position may be performed in either a standard office setting or a home office environment. It requires prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and other office equipment, and effective time management in a self-directed work environment. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds may be required.

All US Signal employees will comply with US Signal Information Security policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of US Signal and customer data. All employees are responsible to ensure actions comply with state and federal regulations and requirements.
