Robert Half is hiring a Personal Assistant for a highly regarded UK infrastructure company to support the SLT of a long-standing and on-going infrastructure project. Manchester city centre. This role supports a multi-billion-pound infrastructure programme to upgrade critical water supply infrastructure in the North West. The project involves constructing approximately 50km of new tunnel sections along an existing aqueduct and will ensure reliable water delivery to the Greater Manchester area. Post-construction, the aqueduct will continue to be operated by the water company, while the project team remains responsible for major maintenance of the new infrastructure for 25 years.Role OverviewProvide highly organised and professional support as a Personal Assistant to the Executive PA and wider leadership team.Join a large, collaborative team delivering a major infrastructure programme with long-term career growth potential.The role requires a proactive, experienced individual with a proven track record of supporting senior directors or executive leadership, capable of balancing competing priorities with discretion, accuracy, and efficiency.Principal ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and operational support to the Executive PA and team members as required.Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and itineraries.Prepare agendas, reports, and board packs, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.Arrange and attend meetings, capturing actions and ensuring follow-up.Act as a point of contact, handling calls, correspondence, and emails professionally.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the executive office to a high standard.Manage confidential information with absolute discretion.Support the coordination of key events, workshops, and leadership sessions.Undertake general administrative tasks to ensure smooth delivery of executive priorities.Assist with document control activities during periods of high volume.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience as a Personal Assistant at a senior level.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.Ability to work independently while supporting a busy executive teamInitially there will be a requirement to be in office located in Manchester whilst getting to know the team and infrastructure.
