Job Description
  • Utilizing various office equipment (printers, pc, check folding/stuffing machine, postage meter, check sealers), accurately compiles and packages client payrolls, reports and other materials
  • Coordinates delivery as required via USPS, FedEx, local couriers, etc. to ensure deadlines are met and that clients receive all payroll items accurately and on schedule.
  • Sorts, packages and ships Heartland Payroll mail for approximately 15,000 clients to various locations/employees
  • Assist in sorting, printing and shipping sensitive Tax documents to local, state and federal agencies.
  • Process nightly manifest by utilizing scanning equipment
  • Maintains (orders and stocks) an adequate amount of supplies for production and distribution of all client related materials; orders office supplies as needed
  • Completes required inventory management responsibilities and reports back to Director and/or Manager.
  • Ensures all office equipment is in satisfactory working order and schedules maintenance visits as required
  • Answers phones and provides administrative / clerical coverage as needed
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the Payroll software
  • Performs clerical duties, including but not limited to word processing, Excel sheet creation, faxing and other general office tasks as needed or requested
  • Ensures daily distribution tracking is completed and accurate and reported back to Director and/or Manager of Fulfillment.
  • Completion of any necessary leadership/development work assigned to the fulfillment team
  • Completion of any ancillary training outside of fulfillment for cross-training purposes
Job Requirements
  • Detail oriented, with ability to focus on numerical data
  • Ability to read and follow specific written or verbal instructions and directions
  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet schedules; at times with unexpected deadlines, to ensure client delivery needs are met
  • Ability to multi-task – interacting with Payroll Specialists and other employees, delivery vendors, equipment vendors, clients, at times simultaneously
  • Ability to do light lifting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Windows PC environment with accurate data entry / keyboarding skills
  • Proficient with G suite; specifically, Sheets, Mail, Docs and Chat
  • Must have a valid driver license
Education/Experience
  • High school education with a minimum of 2-3 years of office experience, or equivalent education and/or experience
  • Experience with high-volume workloads while handline extremely sensitive materials

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $19 - $19. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
