Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Panchakarma Therapist to join our Ayurveda wellness team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in classical Panchakarma, good patient handling skills, and a deep understanding of Ayurvedic therapies.


🩺 Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform all Panchakarma procedures including:

    • Abhyanga

    • Shirodhara

    • Swedana (steam)

    • Basti

    • Nasya

    • Virechana support

    • Kati Basti / Janu Basti / Griva Basti

    • Udvartana

    • Pinda Sweda

    • Patra Potli

    • Lepam and local therapies

  • Prepare the therapy room before each session.

Patient Care

  • Assist doctor in Poorvakarma & Paschatkarma stages.

  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during all procedures.

  • Monitor patient condition and report changes immediately to the doctor.

Hygiene & Protocol

  • Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.

  • Ensure proper storage of medicated oils, herbs, and equipment.

  • Follow hospital SOPs and Ayurvedic guidelines.

Documentation

  • Maintain daily treatment records, therapy notes, and patient registers.

  • Update therapy charts and ensure correct documentation for IPD/OPD patients.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Ayurvedic doctors, nurses, and housekeeping staff.

  • Assist in therapy planning and scheduling.

  • Support health camps and wellness programs.

Professional Conduct

  • Follow ethical practices and provide compassionate care.

  • Maintain punctuality and professional behavior.


📚 Qualifications

  • Certification/Diploma in Panchakarma Therapy from a recognized institution.

  • Basic understanding of Ayurvedic principles.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Experience in hospital or Panchakarma center preferred.
