Keepers of the East Zion Adventure

What you'll be doing
• Guide guests through outdoor adventures in a safe and efficient manner • Pickup and transport guests to tour locations
• Assist in guiding, training, organizing, cleaning, maintaining, inspecting, etc. • Effectively and clearly teach guests all necessary aspects of leave no trace • Maintain and care for the landscape by understanding our core values and standards
• Follow consistent and documented routines of operation, safety, reactionary routines
• Working alongside a team of other guides to provide excellent service to EZA guests using our proven process (being entertaining, educational, and emotional) alongside documented safety measures
• Provide ideas for new tours and operations
• Be proficient in all aspects in each of our guided tours
• Maintain and care for the equipment, inspect and keep equipment safe for guests and guides
• Maintain a high quality guest experience in all tours
• Adhere to all methods of operations in guiding and guest service

What you will need to be successful
• Guide experience preferred but not required- training available.
• Humble attitude to help anywhere, Hungry enough to work hard to do your part and Smart ability to manage coworker and guest emotions to reach success • Keep our core values which are: Humble, Hungry, Smart, Passionate, Loyal, and Safe
• Attentive to the details that need to be followed through with in a timely matter • Passion for hospitality, excellent service, safety, and team success

• Bring up beat passion for hospitality and service to guests
• Lead and inspire others on the team to feel joy in our services
• Make lasting relationships with guests and staff while inspiring the love of Zion • Provide a safe environment for guests and staff to enjoy the landscape

Compensation and Benefits
• Half Day Tour (pay may vary depending on participants and specific locations): $80
• Full Day Tour (pay may vary depending on participants and specific locations): $130 - $150
• Compensation is on a pay-per-tour basis.
• Although not guaranteed, guides are typically able to work 5 days a week.
• On a working day guides can expect to guide either two half day tours or one full day. This will vary depending on your training and

assignments.
• Tips are not guaranteed but are estimated around $80 - $120 daily.

*Additional compensation may be offered for additional participants

or specific canyons
• Discounts on all resort outlets including F&B, Recreation and Lodging (20%) • Paid leave accrual based on employee manual stipulations: hire to 5th anniversary, 15 days (accrued at a rate of .05775 per hour), (wait times and management level restrictions apply, must be year-round full time)
• Health, vision, dental, and life insurance packages available (wait times and management level restrictions apply, must be year-round full time. Subject to limitations or changes)
