About the position Ready for a career glow up? As Data Privacy Legal Analyst, you'll be supporting Sephora's Privacy Legal team with critical research, analysis, and legal responsibilities to protect our customers' data. The work you do will impact beauty, as you ensure privacy compliance and build trust with our customers through responsible data management. You'll be part of a team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about privacy protection and risk management. Responsibilities • Privacy Inbox Management. Own the Privacy inbox and create efficiencies for intake and resolution for all privacy incidents. • Consumer Request Oversight. Regularly audit consumer requests in the privacy enterprise tool to ensure compliance and timely resolution. • Privacy Process Enhancement. Assist with and work cross-functionally to enhance legal data privacy processes and procedures, including operations, documentation, training, and policy enforcement. • Incident Response. Assist with triage and response to internal and external privacy incidents while evolving the Sephora Response Plan. • Privacy Reviews & Risk Assessments. Conduct privacy reviews and third-party risk assessments with cross-functional partners, and keep the data inventory up to date and within compliance. • Litigation Support. Support litigation investigations and discovery requests while serving as a cross-functional champion for privacy risk management. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree & Privacy Experience. A bachelor's degree and at least 3-5 years of privacy experience (CIPP/US and/or CIPM certification a bonus). • Privacy Law Knowledge. Basic knowledge of U.S. privacy law, including CCPA and other state and federal privacy laws and regulations, online behavioral advertising principles, state data protection, and breach notification laws. • Project Management Excellence. Strong project management skills with an emphasis on being detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously under time-sensitive deadlines. • Communication & Collaboration. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with legal and cross-functional teams. • Technical Proficiency. Experience with databases and document management software, along with excellent knowledge of arenaflex Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Adaptability & Growth Mindset.
