m2r Education are recruiting for Online ESL Teachers to deliver high-quality English lessons to young learners in a fully remote teaching role. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ESL teachers looking for flexible online teaching work with structured lesson materials provided.

About the Online ESL Teaching Role

As an Online English Teacher, you will deliver engaging, interactive ESL lessons to students aged 6–12 years via a dedicated online teaching platform. All lesson plans and materials are provided, allowing you to focus purely on teaching and student engagement.

Classes are scheduled between 7:00am and 5:00pm UK time, on weekdays and weekends. This provides flexibility for teachers seeking part-time online teaching jobs or additional income alongside other commitments.

Students are based in Maharashtra, Western India. Given the local demographics, many of these children may never have the opportunity to travel abroad, including to the UK. Through this initiative, we're helping broaden their global perspective and build essential communication skills, all from their classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver online ESL lessons to young learners (1:1 and small group classes)
  • Follow structured lesson plans and use the provided teaching platform
  • Create an engaging and supportive virtual classroom environment
  • Provide professional and consistent instruction to support language development
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance requirements are met

Requirements

To be considered for this remote ESL teaching position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year’s ESL teaching experience (young learners preferred)
  • A recognised TEFL, TESOL or equivalent ESL qualification
  • A reliable internet connection and suitable home teaching setup
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • An up-to-date DBS / police clearance
